A matching of two of the finest parts of our community, the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and the pristine nature of Lake Tahoe, Broadway on the Beach is one of the hottest Tahoe events of the summer. Rob Evan starred in the original Broadway cast of Jekyll & Hyde, playing the title roles for three years on Broadway and over 1,000 performances worldwide. He has also performed in Les Miserables, Little Shop of Horror and Disney’s Tarzan. As a vocalist and recording artist, Rob is a member of the platinum selling rock band, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Capathia Jenkins made her Broadway debut in The Civil War, where she created the role of Harriet Jackson. She then starred in the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell, where she wowed audiences with her stirring rendition of ‘Turn Back, O Man.’ Ms. Jenkins has appeared with the Cleveland Orchestra, National Symphony, Utah Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony, Edmonton Symphony, San Diego Symphony and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.

Grab your beach chair, stick your toes in the sand and enjoy the magical music of the Phil with Broadway stars. Tickets are $85, $47 and $30, sold through the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival box office: CLICK HERE. Tickets Available 3/30/12.
